Drasik Studio

‘Bend Reality’ is our passion project born with the aim of doing something for us, without boundaries, unique and entirely our own. It’s a space for experimentation -with techniques, styles, and narratives where we explore who we are and express our mindset: in a constantly changing world, transformation is the only way to growth. And our evolution -as individuals and as a creative studio -never stops.
Each piece in the series represents a stage of that journey and carries the scars and sparks of the process — the exhaustion, the breakthroughs, the setbacks, the growth. And it’s a reflection on selfimprovement, resilience, and the emotional toll of chasing a goal without rest. That’s why ‘Bend Reality’ is endless: because when you achieve a goal, you are already striving for the next one.Someday, perhaps, all the pieces of this visual metaphore will come together to tell one single story.

Our first artwork for ‘Bend Reality’ is a short about resilience. The main character, inspired by the bear on our logotype, keeps going, falls and gets up, and never gives up until he reaches his goal, a diamond. He goes from darker to brighter scenarios of different illustration styles to portray the verchanging world we live in and how we evolve with it.

Idea

We wanted to tell a story that truly represents each and every one of us and the essence of the studio. So when we started thinking about the concept, we asked the whole team to answer the question "what you like the most about working at Drasik Studio?". And from all their answers we found our inspiration.

First drafts

As soon as we got down to work, we realized that when you aim to do something that defines you, you become much more demanding than ever. That’s why we came up with a character that merged the brand and team. The bear and the human side.

Character design

We wanted him to reflect our attitude and signature look, street and underground, with some details that give him a bold personality. So he can act and feel the way we do, even though he’s wearing a mask. For us, the mask means that we all show to the world just a tiny part of what we are.

Art direction

Using 2D and frame-by-frame animation, our main character goes from darker to brighter scenarios created by four different artists until he reaches his goal, a diamond.
